MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio — Auto insurer Progressive Corp. said Monday that Stuart Burgdoerfer, chief financial officer of retailer Limited Brands Inc., has been named to fill a vacancy on Progressive's board.Burgdoerfer, 46, will join the board for a term ending in April 2010.Burgdoerfer also serves on the board of trustees of Spelman College, where he is chairman of the audit committee.Progressive said it will pay an annual dividend on Feb. 5 to shareholders of record Jan. 27, but did not provide an estimate of the 2009 payout.
