WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama unveiled Monday his own plan to overhaul the US health care system by providing cover for 31 million uninsured Americans and cracking down on exorbitant premium hikes by insurers.Obama's proposals, which mold different aspects from two bills that have passed Congress, come ahead of Thursday's televised "summit" with Republican leaders who have sought to block passage and derail the president's agenda.
