SAN DIEGO, California — Italian tennis star Flavia Pennetta easily beat American teenager Coco Vandeweghe 6-1, 6-2 to hand Italy their second straight and third Fed Cup title in four years here on Sunday.In the first set, Pennetta hammered eight winners and made just 11 unforced errors to the 18-year old Vandeweghe's 27 unforced errors as the American's inexperience was evident from outset.Pennetta ran away with the match in the second set silencing the pro American crowd at the San Diego Sports Arena.The win gave Italy an unassailable 3-1 lead in the match following victories for Pennetta and reigning French Open champion Francesca Shiavone in Saturday's day one of the best-of-five, two-day tournament.
