Formula One driver Sutil still focused despite Shanghai bust-up

BARCELONA — Adrian Sutil insisted Thursday that the drama surrounding his controversial nightclub bust-up will not affect his on-track performance during this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.The Force India driver has been under the media spotlight after news that Renault shareholder Eric Lux would be filing a criminal complaint of assault against him following an incident in a Shanghai nightclub following the Chinese Grand Prix.According to media reports, a brawl broke out between the two men, with Sutil injuring Lux's throat with a champagne glass -- a wound that required stitches.In spite of this, the 28-year-old Sutil, who has yet to finish on the podium in 74 races, said his performance would not be affected."To be honest, it is one part of my life - but I am concentrating on the racing at the moment and that is what counts," said the German driver."I am here in Barcelona to focus on my race this weekend, focus for the next one in Monaco. That is all that counts and that is all I can answer at the moment."There are always difficult situations but I have to live with it."Sutil's manager Manfred Zimmerman was quick to quench any rumours that Sutil may be losing his place in the team."The team was asked, 'will Adrian be in the car in Barcelona?' and the team said, 'yes he will be in the car in Barcelona'.
